G29 grip extension works well

These grip extensions are great for the g29. They fit the mag properly and feel good. Pearce shipped quickly and all was good. I am happy that I could order direct instead of through a distributor.

Easy switch from Glock OEM base plate to Pearce

I found no video as simple as I figured out, and offer it to Pearce:

1. You need two hands free, so stabilize the magazine in a vise or even between your knees.

2. In one hand, have a screwdriver small enough to push down the OEM piston.

3. In the other hand, preferably your dominate hand, have a small thin-blade screwdriver, not too wide. You will need to slip this BETWEEN rounded SIDE of the magazine, and the OEM base plate, so have it ready.

4. Push down the OEM locking button, just enough so the base plate will SLIDE, no biggie, not too much, maybe an 1/8"

5. AS the button is down, SLIP your thin-blade BETWEEN the rounded end of the OEM plate and the magazine, AND WIGGLE THE BLADE TO LOOSEN AND MOVE the plastic base plate. It just SLIDES!

6. Put your tools down, take one hand to hold the magazine; the other with your fingers SLIDING the plate right off. WARNING - KEEP your thumb or whatever finger is closest to the OEM plate as it comes OFF, THEN HOLD THE SPRING IN PLACE, READY FOR THE PIERCE PLATE.

6. Now is the 2-3 second "installation."

7. Take the Pierce plate, FLAT SIDE entering on the Rounded Side where the OEM just came off.

8. CLICK! the black button will snap right in to the Pierce receiver-hole!

9. You will do all three magazines in maybe, um, uh, ONE MINUTE!

Easy to install and the extra length makes it easier to hang on to the baby Glock 10mm

Ouch

I purchased 3 pinky extensions for my Glock G29. They pinch my pinky every shot to the point of causing a blood blister and then busting it open.

Pearce has been great at responding to me and offering solutions. So far, nothing has helped. I don't have any issues with the same extensions on my Sig 365, or my G26 so maybe it's just an issue with the 29

Grip Extension for GLOCK model 29/29SF

These units replace the magazine base plate and retain all other factory components. They do not alter the capacity of the magazine and provide about 1/2" additional length for better control and comfort.

**If you need this extension installed on a factory specific magazine check out the PARTS+MAG section for current availability.

Key Benefits

  • These units blend with the contours and texture of the handgun giving a factory appearance.
  • Made from High Impact Polymer and withstand drop tests at temperatures from -20 F to 250 F.
  • They form the next logical finger positioning feature to provide control and comfort without sacrificing conceal ability.
