Overall, the internal part works as intended! It allows you to fit the pinky grip extension on existing mags. Having said that, it sucks that I have to remove my magwell to make all this work reliably. It would be nice if Pierce manufactured a mag extension, same style but with the thickness of the OE so that I can keep the magwell intact as well as give me the +1 round.

Got my XDM Elite grip extensions a couple weeks ago and am very pleased with the product. I have Pearce grips on my XD9 and my XDS as well. Always fit well and extend enough to get my pinky finger on the grip. Well Done Pearce!!
